Lewisham Shopping Centre has been submitted for planning!

This transformative 17-acre masterplan from Landsec, will bring 1,700 new homes to Lewisham, including at least 20% affordable housing. In addition, the masterplan will create 445 co-living spaces and up to 660 student beds, alongside thousands of new jobs and opportunities, projected to contribute around £160 million to the local economy, creating a vibrant, inclusive community in the heart of Lewisham.

Community engagement has been at the heart of the design process, with over 2,500 residents engaged, and 500 pieces of feedback received. Working closely with local Design Champions from start to submittal means Lewisham Shopping Centre is a truly community-shaped vision.

This project will better the community residing within Lewisham currently, and for generations to come. With a significant 300% increase in biodiversity, hundreds of new trees and thousands of plants will be planted in the area, building a greener, healthier Lewisham.
